Carol Lunsford

Carol E. Lunsford, 94, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, at Life Care Center.

She was born March 23, 1924, near Oriole, the daughter of Burette A. and Lottie Mae Tripp Farrow. Carol was married to Charles Oakley Lunsford, and he preceded her in death June 22, 1960.

Carol was a member of North Cape Girardeau Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. She enjoyed flowers and gardening and her family.

Loving survivors include a son, Gary Lunsford of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Lana Ussery of Cape Girardeau and Patricia (Dennis) Koch of Oak Ridge. Also surviving are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, an infant son and three daughters.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Brother Roy LeBlanc officiating.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to North Cape Girardeau Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.
