JACKSON -- Carmen Jewel Davis, 81, of Jackson, died Wednesday, May 1, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 13, 1914, at Patton, daughter of Amon and Eliza Jane Pulliam Cook. She and William O. Davis were married Aug. 30, 1930. He died Oct. 26, 1965.
Davis was a member of Patton United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Maedean Garland of Marble Hill; a granddaughter, and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a son and brother.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Fulbright officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
