Carmelita M. Raglin, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, at her home surrounded by family.

She was born June 30, 1924, in Cape Girardeau, to Charles E. and Ruby Scheper Stone. She and Charles Raglin were married Friday, April 14, 1944, in Blytheville, Arkansas. He preceded her in death Nov. 17, 2006.

Carmelita was an active member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church many years, attended Bethany Baptist Church in later years, and most recently was attending Sunday school at Cape First.

Survivors include a son, Robert C. "Chuck" (Marilyn) Raglin of Oak Ridge; three daughters, Jeep McCart of Cape Girardeau, Patricia Raglin of Fruitland and Pamela Raglin of Springfield, Missouri; a brother, William (Wilma) Stone of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Wilma Cupler of Jackson; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Raglin; two sisters, Ruth Bragg and Margie Foister; a grandson, Joshua Boyd; and a granddaughter, Theresa McCart.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Louis Children's Hospital.
