CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Carlos L. Crump, 86, of Chaffee died Tuesday, April 3, 2001, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 6, 1914, at Chaffee, Mo., son of John Elbert and Zada May White Crump. He and Irene Norris were married May 31, 1934. She died Feb. 23, 1985.
Crump retired as a presser at Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Scott City, Mo., and was a former member of Chaffee City Council.
Survivors include two sons, John Crump of Naylor, Mo., Leslie Crump of Scott City; two daughters, Carla Kennedy of Kansas City, Sue Masters of Dayton, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today.
Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
