ANNA, Ill. -- Carl R. Wright, 63, Anna Route 1, died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 1991, at his home.
He was born Sept. 29, 1927, in Jonesboro, son of Fred and Lillie Shepard Wright. He and Betty Jane Henderson were married in 1949 in Osceola, Ark.
Wright was a carpenter, and veteran of World War II.
He was a member of Anna Heights Baptist Church, Anna Masonic Lodge 520, Oasis Shrine Club, and Carpenters Local 2010.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Carl and Allen Wright of Anna; a sister, Edna Martin of Knox, Ind.; three brothers, James Wright of Elgin, Archie Wright of Jonesboro, Fred Wright of Madison, and four grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Norris and Son Funeral Chapel in Jonesboro. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today. A Masonic service will be held at 7.
