Carl Pulley
LICK CREEK, Ill. -- Carl W. Pulley, 89, of Lick Creek died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008, at his home.
He was born Feb. 15, 1919, in Marion, Ill., son of Willis and Grace Gibbons Pulley. He and Margaret Turnage were married March 3, 1938, in Benton, Ky.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Quentin Pulley of Mayfield, Ky., Craig Pulley of Anna, Ill.; a daughter, Carla Berman of Phoenix; a sister, Wilma Woods of Palm Desert, Calif; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
Carl was a member and deacon of Anna First Baptist Church, and a retired real estate salesman.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Roy Hill and Tony Foeller officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Marion, Ill.
