JACKSON -- Carl J. McCauley, 94, died Friday at Deal Nursing Home in Jackson.
He was born Jan. 6, 1902, in Perryville, son of the late James and Mary Klump McCauley.
He married Reba Morton on March 12, 1927 in Granite City, Ill.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. C. William Ade of St. Louis; three sisters, Esther Leible of Cape Girardeau, Stella Warncke of St. Louis and Bernice Holtman of Horseshoe Bend, Ark.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and three brothers.
McCauley lived in Jackson for many years, where he operated K and M Truckline and drove a school bus for the Perryville and Oak Ridge school districts.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dave Griffin officiating. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery at Daisy.
