PATTON -- Carl James Wallis, 68, of Patton, died Thursday, June 29, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 12, 1926, at Hornersville, son of James and Myrtle Shirley Wallis. He and Margaret Smith were married May 10, 1952.
Wallis was a member of Patton United Methodist Church, and Masonic Lodge 532 in Midwest City, Okla. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Charles Wallis of Kirkwood, Richard Wallis of Patton; a daughter, Virginia Yawn of Panama City, Fla.; his mother of Patton; a twin brother, Clint Wallis of Cherokee Village, Ark.; a brother, Joe Wallis of Homer, Alaska, and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Patton United Methodist Church, with the Revs. W.D. Snyder and Clark Sitze officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
