JACKSON -- Carl Leon Ford, 68, of Jackson, died Thursday Aug. 19, 1999 at his home.
He was born July 6, 1931 to George and Ethel Wyatt Ford. He was married to Delores Revelle July 25, 1952 and later married Betty Stovall Seiler June 17, 1977.
An avid fisherman, Ford worked as a truck driver most of his life. He also was a member of the Teamsters Union.
He is survived by his wife Betty; his mother; two sons, Rocky and Carl Scott Ford, both of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Carla Wren and Deborah Seesing of Cape Girardeau and Amy Foulk of Millersville; two brothers, Jack Ford of Cape Girardeau and Donnie Ford of Waco, Texas; two sisters, Wilda Kitchen and Becky Ford of Cape Girardeau; three stepsons, Lenny Seiler of Freidheim, Benny Seiler of Oak Ridge, Rick Seiler of Arlee, Mt.; stepdaughter, JoAnn Dallas of Oak Ridge, Carol Riley of Spokane, Wa.; nine grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren; twelve step grandchildren and 12 step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
The funeral was at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel with Rev. Donnie Ford officiating. Burial followed at the Cape County Memorial Park.
