GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Candace Jeanette Ricketts, 46, of Glenallen died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018,in the emergency room at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Born Nov. 2, 1971, in Cape Girardeau, she was the daughter of Harold W. and Mary Jeanette Pulliam James. She married Christopher Lee Ricketts at Zalma, Missouri on July 20, 1996. He survives...

GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Candace Jeanette Ricketts, 46, of Glenallen died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018,in the emergency room at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Nov. 2, 1971, in Cape Girardeau, she was the daughter of Harold W. and Mary Jeanette Pulliam James. She married Christopher Lee Ricketts at Zalma, Missouri on July 20, 1996. He survives.

She worked as a respiratory therapist for 15 years at Mineral Area Hospital in Farmington, Missouri. Most recently, she was a personal caregiver for Regency House in Marble Hill, Missouri.

She attended Marble Hill Bible Chapel, was a huge Cardinals baseball fan, loved to fish and filled free time with crafting and home decorating.

She is survived by her husband, Chris Ricketts of Glenallen; a son, Bryant Ricketts, and a daughter, Breanna Ricketts, both of Glenallen; her parents, Harold W. and Mary Jeanette James of Zalma; her maternal grandmother, Jean Pulliam of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Danny (Amy) James and Nathanael (Laura) James of Marble Hill; a sister, Tabitha (Kerry) Lincoln of Marble Hill; parents-in-law, Billy and Patty Ricketts, and brother-in-law, Travis Ricketts, all of Marble Hill; nieces, Sophie and Macey James, Shania Lincoln and Kerry Jean Lincoln; and nephews, Nathanael and Jesse James and Tristan Ricketts.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill.

Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.
