Camille Caroline Amrhein, 86, 720 Caruthers, died Saturday, May 10, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 19, 1910, in Lambertville, the daughter of John and Mary Scheeter Kern. On Jan. 27, 1931, she married Joseph Amrhein in New Hamburg. He survives.
She co-owned and operated Amrhein Pharmacy in Illmo for 40 years.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau and the Ladies Sodality of the Church. She also belonged to Senior Citizens of Cape and the American Association of Retired Persons.
She is survived by a son, Jerry Amrhein of Scott City, six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons and three brothers.
Friends may call today after 4 p.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayers will be said at 7 at the funeral chapel, followed at 7:15 by a Knights of Columbus rosary.
A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
