Camella Ann Schleinger, 65, of Scott City died Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at her home.
She was born Sept. 29, 1939, at Charter Oak, Mo., daughter of James F. and Essie Mae Hicks Brantley. She and Fred Schleinger Jr. were married Oct. 2, 1960, in Scott City. He died Sept. 25, 1992.
Schleinger was a clerical worker with Division of Family Services in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of the General Baptist Church in Scott City, and was a former Cub Scout den mother and Girl Scout leader.
Survivors include three sons, Tim and Jim Schleinger of Scott City, Rick Schleinger of Benton, Mo.; a daughter, Angela Schleinger of Scott City; a brother, Jerry Brantley of Scopus, Mo.; a sister, Gay Davis of Rapid City, S.D.; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, a sister and a grandson.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Revs. Larry Rouse, Charles Lance and John Davis officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
