ANNA, Ill. -- Calvin Silliman Sr., 65, of Anna died Saturday, May 16, 1998, at Union County Hospital. He was born Jan. 18, 1933, in Laurens, N.Y., son of Harold and Letha Sutton Silliman. ANNA, Ill. -- Calvin Silliman Sr., 65, of Anna died Saturday, May 16, 1998, at Union County Hospital.

He was born Jan. 18, 1933, in Laurens, N.Y., son of Harold and Letha Sutton Silliman.

Silliman was a retired truck driver. He was a life member of Carroll P. Foster VFW Post. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include three daughters, Nancy Reynolds of Bainbridge, N.Y., Lisa and Lois Silliman of Anna; two sons, Danny Silliman of Burmington, Wash., Calvin Silliman Jr. of Cobden; a sister, Emily Bouikous of New York; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter.

There is no visitation or service.

Crain Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
