Calvin Gene Ayers Jr., 20 days, died Sunday, March 26, 2000, at St. Louis Children's Hospital. He was born March 6, 2000, in St. Louis, son of Calvin Gene Ayers Sr. and Nancy Harris. Survivors include his parents of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Latreesa and Jameika Reed, Mercedes and Emily Ayers, all of Cape Girardeau; a grandmother, Eddith Jones of Elkhart, Ind.; grandfathers, Robert Harris of St. Louis, Willie Caldwell of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and a great-grandmother, Julia Thornton of Malden...

Visitation is for family only.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Lorimier Cemetery, with the Rev. Johnny Thomas officiating.

Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
