C. Scott Clippard

C. Scott Clippard, 65, of Cape Girardeau passed away Monday, April 22, 2024, at his home.

He was born April 28, 1958, in St. Louis to the late Charles and Audrey Lee Haverkost Clippard.

Scott was a 1976 Cape Girardeau Central High School graduate. After high school, he completed mechanical technician training. He worked for Ford Groves, Lenco Automotive, Dana Corp. and DHL.

Survivors include his significant other, Sally Welker of Cape Girardeau; brother, Clayton (Shelly) Clippard of St. Charles; sons, Christopher Welker of St. Louis and Michael Welker of Cape Girardeau; grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan and Makayla; and niece and nephew, Ellen and Nick.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

The cremation of Scott Clippard has been personally handled by the staff of Crain Funeral Home.
