SIKESTON, Mo. — C. Kenny Summers, 81, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2023, at his home in Sikeston.

He was born July 23, 1942, in Dresden, Tennessee, son of the late Clarence Gilbert Summers and Lela Alpine Sexton-Summers.

He and Betty Jean Winchester were married in 1960, and they moved to Sikeston in 1968.

Kenny was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church and had worked for several manufactured mobile home dealers by delivering and setting up homes. He opened Kenny's Mobile Home Service in 1980.

He was a practical joker. He was a Jack of all trades and master of none. There wasn't much he couldn't fix. Kenny loved tinkering in his shop or on his trucks, and he loved being around his family.
