SIKESTON -- Byrdine Mills, 70, of Sikeston died Friday, Jan. 14, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 3, 1929, at Bessville, daughter of Rona and Lillie Greer Parsons. She and Joseph W. Mills were married April 9, 1950. He died July 26, 1993.
Mills was a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 137, member and former district deputy of Past Worthy Matron and Patrons Club and was active in local Girl Scouts.
Survivors include a son, Danny Mills of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Karen Ramsey of Nashville, Tenn., Myra Krider of Ft. Polk, La.; three sisters, Juanita Robins and Velma Polen of Jackson, Betty Akins of Lakeland, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today. An Eastern Star service will be held at 7.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
