DONGOLA, Ill. -- Burel E. Miller, 74, of Dongola, died Sunday, April 5, 1992, at his home.
He was born Dec. 14, 1917 at Ullin, Ill., son of Arch and Gertrude Eddleman Miller.
He was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Dongola, Dongola Lodge No. 581, Carroll P. Foster Post No. 3455 of the Anna, Ill. VFW and Carpenters Local No. 618 in Marion, Ill.
He was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors are his wife, Carol Miller of Dongola; two sons, Tony Ray Miller and David Miller, both of Dongola; one daughter, Tammy Miller of Dongola; one sister, Reba Miller of Ullin and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at the Crain Funeral Home in Dongola after 5 p.m. today and on Tuesday until time of service.
Masonic service will be held Monday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church with the Revs. William Horn and Lucien Bozarth officiating. Burial will be at St. Johns Cemetery.
