Buelah I. McLaird, 92, of Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1993, at the Lutheran Home. She was born Aug. 24, 1901, at Commerce, daughter of William and Augusta Wright Trickey. She and Clarence L. McLaird were married in 1921 at Jackson. He died Feb. 28, 1973...

Buelah I. McLaird, 92, of Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1993, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Aug. 24, 1901, at Commerce, daughter of William and Augusta Wright Trickey. She and Clarence L. McLaird were married in 1921 at Jackson. He died Feb. 28, 1973.

McLaird was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.

Survivors include two sons, George E. and Jerry M. McLaird of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Earmel Lansdown and Dorothy Thompson of Cape Girardeau; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and four brothers.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m Wednesday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Revs. David Stewart and Ernest Swartz will officiate, with burial in McLain Chapel Cemetery at Indian Creek.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
