MOREHOUSE -- J.C. "Bud" Sutton, 66, of Morehouse died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 25, 1934, in Blytheville, Ark., son of Harry and Eugenia Sudberry Sutton Sr. He and Jimmie R. Cole were married July 31, 1951, in Blytheville.
Sutton was retired from Wayside Gin Co.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Dan and the Rev. Scott Sutton of Sikeston, Joel, Kevin and Tom Sutton of Morehouse; four sisters, Nan Sutton and Geraldine Coalter of Memphis, Tenn., Margie Ross of Blytheville, Cynthia Elliott of Paris, Tenn.; 20 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are four children the couple helped raise, Kevin Jordan of Morehouse, Jimmy Jordan of New Madrid, Rejena Presley of Sikeston, and Tara Barks of Dexter.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston. The Rev. Scott Sutton will officiate.
