ORAN, Mo. -- William "Bud" Kitchen, 87, of Oran died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2001, at his home.
He was born July 11, 1914, at Lenox, Mo., son of William David and Augusta Emma Crow Kitchen. He and Shirley Faye Cook were married Oct. 26, 1960.
Kitchen retired as a truck driver for Asa Asphalt Batch Plant in Advance, Mo. He was a member of Teamsters Local 574 in Cape Girardeau and Country CBers in Chaffee, Mo.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Mike Kitchen and Ray Cook of Oran; a daughter, Donna Pobst of Oran; eight grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters, and a grandson.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. The Rev. Ed Carter will officiate. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
