SIKESTON -- A memorial service for Hugh W. "Buck" Harris of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home. Harris, 73, died Wednesday, May 31, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born Sept. 29, 1926, in Willow, Okla., son of Wade and Ima Frazier Harris. He was born Sept. 29, 1926, in Willow, Okla., son of Wade and Ima Frazier Harris. He and Evelyn Faulk were married Feb. 22, 1986.
Harris was a retired professional cutting horse trainer.
Survivors include two sons, Clay Harris and Charles Harris of Garden City, Texas; a brother, Bob Harris of Hemet, Calif.; a sister, Fern Biddy of Hemet; seven stepchildren; and two grandchildren.
