Bruce W. Reimann, 62, of Cape Girardeau passed away from complications of pulmonary fibrosis Sunday Aug, 8, 2021, surrounded by his daughters at Saint Francis Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 16, 1958, in Cape Girardeau to Walter and Mary Reimann of McClure, Illinois.

Bruce was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau as well as the Men's Club.

Bruce's greatest love in this world were his daughters, Hailey and Lindsey. Bruce could spend hours talking about his girls. He was so incredibly proud of them both.

He had a love for cars and boating. Whether it be on the jet ski or on the beaches in Cozumel, Bruce was happiest on the water with his family. He could spend hours telling stories about his farming days in Illinois, operating heavy machinery, or his adventures selling cars with close friends Kody and Al. His booming voice and heartfelt laugh filled a room. Bruce never met a stranger with his outgoing personality. He was a friend and father figure to so many. Bruce was also a tremendous cook and BBQ master. He loved bringing friends and family together and cooking a huge meal for them all. Even though Bruce was a large, mountain of a man, he had a soft spot for his dogs. He will forever be missed, but Bruce's legacy will live on in the hearts of all those who love him.

Survivors include two daughters, Lindsey Reimann of Gulf Shores, Alabama, and Hailey (Aaron) Keena of Jackson; a brother, Don Reimann of Sikeston, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Laura Reimann of McClure; and niece and nephews, Hope Edwards, Blyn (Amy) Reimann and Tyler (Kim) Reimann.
