PERRYVILLE - Brother Daniel D. Gagnon died Tuesday, July 28, 1992 at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville. He was 60.
Gagnon was a Vincentian brother at St. Mary's Seminary in Perryville and served as the executive custodian for three years at St. Vincent's College in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 6, 1932 in Zurich, Kan., to the late Francis D. and Edwidge Hamel Gagnon.
Surviving are sisters Annette Roberts of Broomfield, Colo., and Doris Landry, Margaret McKibben, and Sheila Paulick, all of Denver.
Two brothers also survive. They are Ralph Gagnon of Hayes, Kan. and Henry Gagnon of Zurich.
Daniel Gagnon served in the Air Force from 1950 to 1954. He took his final vows as a brother on Oct. 30, 1978 at St. Mary's Seminary.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary of the Barrens at Perryville. A wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Ignatius Melito. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery in Zurich.
