Brian Thomas Griffin, 36, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Randolph, Massachusetts, died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born June 27, 1980, in Boston to Thomas P. and Paula J. O'Hearn Griffin.
Brian worked as a manager in automotive sales in Cape Girardeau.
He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his fiancee, Cyndi Cox of Cape Girardeau and her son, Tyson LeGrand of the home; his parents, Thomas P. and Paula J. Griffin of Randolph; his two brothers, Mark P. Griffin of Randolph and Christopher J. (Sarah Rose) Griffin of Charlestown, Massachusetts; and his best friend, Brian Hogan, and his children Noah and Allie, to whom Brian will always be "Uncle Brian." Brian also is survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his faithful dogs, Captain, Morgan and Apollo.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joseph Kelly officiating.
Funeral arrangements in Boston Massachusetts are pending.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Tyson LeGrand Educational Fund.
