SIKESTON, Mo. -- Brenda Carolyn Lamb, 56, of Sikeston died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004, at Miner Nursing Center in Miner, Mo.
She was born March 8, 1948, in Corinth, Miss., daughter of Thomas and Mable White Flippo. She and Leon P. Lamb were married Dec. 26, 1971, in Sikeston.
Lamb was a secretary at Sikeston Middle School. She had also worked at Grove Co., Tri-Con, and First Midwest Bank. She was a member of Miner Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Leon Lamb Jr. of Sikeston; a daughter, Mindy McCormick of Scott City; her mother, Mable Arnold of Sikeston; a sister, Faye Gaines of Sikeston; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her father, two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Blanchard Funeral Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Mitchell Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Essex Cemetery at Essex, Mo.
