SIKESTON -- Brenda Joyce Roberts, 44, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born May 24, 1947, in Michie, Tenn., daughter of George S. and Hattie Gray Anditon. She was a bartender for the American Legion Henry Meldrum Post 114 in Sikeston, a member of the American Legion Boosters Society, and she formerly managed and worked at the Dollar General Store in Sikeston. SIKESTON -- Brenda Joyce Roberts, 44, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born May 24, 1947, in Michie, Tenn., daughter of George S. and Hattie Gray Anditon.

She was a bartender for the American Legion Henry Meldrum Post 114 in Sikeston, a member of the American Legion Boosters Society, and she formerly managed and worked at the Dollar General Store in Sikeston. She attended Sikeston High School.

Survivors include two sons, Darryl Roberts of West Jordon, Utah, Michael Roberts of Fort Polk, La.; a bother, John Anditon of Little Rock, Ark.; two sisters, Bonnie Carden of Delta, Faye Cohen of Sikeston; a half brother, George Anditon Jr. of Little Rock; four grandchildren, and a friend, Allen Evans of the home.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Robert Burns officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
