PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Paul Robert "Brandy" Elder, 76, of Perryville died Friday, July 12, 2013, at the home of his daughter in Perry County.
He was born Jan, 22, 1937, to Perryville, to James Elder and Della Schindler Elder.
Brandy worked in public works for the city of Perryville. He was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherri (Ronnie) Weber of Frohna, Mo.; two sons, Paul (Cindy) Elder Jr. of Cape Girardeau and Austin (Kim) Elder of St. Mary, Mo.; two brothers, Roger Elder and Jim Elder, both of Perryville; a sister, Anna Hoffman, of St. Louis; nine granchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 6:30 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
