PERRYVILLE — Brad Harold Weber, 72, of Perryville on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, passed from his earthly home to his heavenly home.

Brad was a beloved husband, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.

Brad was born Dec. 29, 1951, in Perryville. He was the middle child of Harold and Bernice Mecker Weber.

Brad is survived by his sister, Sheryn Weber McClay, and brother, Shawn Weber.

Brad’s wife, Rita, the love of his life, survives. Brad Harold Weber and Rita Ann Heimbaugh were married May 14, 1977, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.

Brad is also survived by two nieces, Bethany Brock and Eleanor Heimbaugh; a nephew, Shane Weber; two great-nieces; two great-nephews; and cousins.

He was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.

Brad’s first paying job was mowing lawns for family and friends. During his adult years, he had various jobs. His final job was a substitute custodian at Perry County School District No. 32. Brad described himself as an “American worker”.

His valuing of family was evident through the years as he interacted with his family. Brad was a caregiver for his mother and mother-in-law.

Visitation and funeral were held Monday, March 18, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. Officiating was the Rev. Joseph Schlie. Burial was at the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Food Pantry or charity of your choice.

The family of Brad wishes to thank Crown Hospice for Brad’s care.
