Boyd Lee Morton, 39, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, April 8, 1993, at his home.
He was born Sept. 9, 1953, in Cape Girardeau, son of Billy and Maxine Cook Morton. He married Susan Sample March 7, 1975, in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Crystal Dawn Morton of the home; his mother; two brothers, Harold Gene Morton of Cahokia, Ill., Scott Morton of Cape Girardeau, and a sister, Debbie Anderson of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
Morton was a graduate of University High School. He was a salesman seven years with Belknap Co., and later was a salesman with Hillman Fastener. He was also a horse trainer several years.
Boyd was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, and past president of River City Rodders.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Ford & Sons Sprigg Street Chapel, with the Rev. David Dissen officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
