DEXTER -- Bonnie L. Kell, 70, of Poplar Bluff died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1999, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
She was born June 13, 1928, in East Prairie, daughter of Harry Otho and Chessie Zook Ishmael. She and Joseph M. Kell Jr. were married Feb. 15, 1947, in Inglewood, Calif. He died Oct. 12, 1983.
Formerly of Dexter, Kell retired as a receiving clerk at Wal-Mart. She was a member of First Christian Church in Dexter and Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph Kell III of Kansas City, Kevin Kell of Jackson; a daughter, Susan Brown of Jackson; a brother, Jakie Ishmael of East Prairie; three sisters, Helen Woodward of Cape Girardeau, Alice Bell of East Prairie, Lillian Emig of St. Charles; a friend, Joe Fields of Poplar Bluff; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Vaughn Wright officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
