Bon Doza, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Jan. 17, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 30, 1911, in Kaskaskia, Ill., son of Clara and Maggie Roderique Doza. He married Virgie Marie Moll July 27, 1938, in Perryville. She preceded him in death on March 27, 1993.
He was a carpenter, a member of the Jackson Trail Riders, Carpenters Local 1770 and volunteered at St. Francis Medical Center and Cape Girardeau Senior Center.
He is survived by two sons, Ned Doza of Jackson and Paul Doza of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel with the Rev. Paul Short officiating. Burial will be in the home cemetery.
