Bobby G. Stoffregen, 70, of Delta died Sunday, May 16, 2004, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 21, 1933, at Delta, son of Albert August and Frieda Pauline Allensworth Stoffregen. He and Nancy L. Hester were married Nov. 23, 1957, at Arbor General Baptist Church in Arbor, Mo.
Bobby retired as plant supervisor at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of Arbor General Baptist Church and a former member of Delta Volunteer Fire Department.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Rodney Stoffregen of St. Louis, Kris and Cheri Stoffregen of Jackson; a brother, Albert Stoffregen Jr. of Morehouse, Mo.; four sisters, Dorothy Kelley, Evelyn Nussbaum, Barbara Swindell, all of Delta, Linda McIntosh of East Prairie, Mo.; and two grandchildren, Kali and Hunter Stoffregen of Jackson.
His parents and a brother, Fred Stoffregen, preceded him in death.
The funeral was held Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, with the Rev. Kermit Patton officiating. Burial was in Kenyon Cemetery near Delta with full military rites.
