Bobby Joe Nation, 59, of Scott City died Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Saint Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
He was born Sept. 27, 1958, in Commerce, Missouri, to John and Jane Marie Radica Nation.
Bobby was a towboat engineer for Inland Marine Service. He enjoyed fishing and collecting arrowheads.

He is survived by two sons, Jarred and Nicholas Nation of Scott City; his father, John Nation of Chaffee, Missouri; his mother, Jane Nelson of Marion, Texas; and a brother, Phil Radica of Scott City.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral will be at noon Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Rennie Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
