Bobby G. "Bob" Luttrell, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at his home.
He was born June 6, 1933, in Gunnison, Mississippi, to John L. and Edith Marie Duty Luttrell. He and Janet Sue Little were married April 11, 1956, at Holly Springs, Mississippi.
Bob was proud to serve his country in the U.S. Army during the war in Korea.
In the early years of his working life, he was employed by Flentge Appliance as an appliance repairman. He then became owner/operator of Snappy Delivery for 45 years. Bob was currently owner/operator of B & J Delivery and Luttrell Moving with his wife of 60 years, Janet.
He was a Christian and loved the Lord Jesus.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Luttrell of Cape Girardeau; four sons, Phillip (Denise) Luttrell of Kelso, Missouri, Mike (Diane) Luttrell of San Antonio, Randy (Penny) Luttrell of Jackson and Billy (Marsha) Luttrell of Millersville; two daughters, Kim Cunningham and Patti Conway, both of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Shirley Phillips of Sparta, Illinois, Vickie (Gene) Holston of Dexter, Missouri, Georgia Polack of Anna, Illinois, and Bobbi Inskeep of Cape Girardeau; 23 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bill and Jim Luttrell; and three infant brothers.
Friends may call between 4 and 8 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Jack Cathcart and Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
