CHARLESTON -- Bobby J. Knox, 58, of Charleston, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997, at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in St. Louis.
He was born July 13, 1939, in Arlington, Ky., and was Methodist. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, receiving an honorable discharge.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Knox Kitchen in 1993.
He is survived by his stepfather, Eddie Kitchen of Charleston; a brother, Rodney K. Kitchen of Columbia; and a sister, Lynette L. Kitchen of Charleston.
Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home.
Funeral service will conducted Monday at 10 a.m. at the Sparks Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Murry Williams officiating. Burial will be in National Cemetery at Mound City, Ill.
