MOUNDS, Ill. - Bobby Lynn Eddleman, 66, of Mounds, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
He was born Nov. 17, 1935, at Dongola, Ill., son of Archie and Amy Lingle Eddleman.
He was a member of the Church of Christ in Cairo, Ill., and was employed for 10 years in the maintenance department with Illnois Central Railroad.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Jean Carr Eddleman of Mounds; a son, Christopher Dean Eddleman of Savannah, Ga.; two daughters, Beth Fitzgerald of Villa Ridge, Ill., and Kimberly Jean Munoz of Houston, Texas; three brothers, Artie Eddleman and Leroy Eddleman, both of Dongola, and Donald Gene Eddleman of Anna, Ill.; two sisters, Lula Bell Porter of St. Louis, Mo., and Linda McIntosh of Marion, Ill.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
At his request, his body was given to Southern Illinois University Medical Science and Research School in Carbondale, Ill.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mount Olive Church near Dongola. Brent Miller will officiate.
Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
