DEXTER - Bobby D. "Bob" Barrett, 64, of Dexter, died Thursday, Feb. 3, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 16, 1929, at Thomasville, to Glen M. and Laura Stewart Barrett.
On Feb. 13, 1951, he married Correene G. Sitton. She preceded him in death on March 20, 1993.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Cox of Bernie, and Donna South of Dexter; two sons, Robert Barrett and Larry Barrett, both of Dexter, his mother, Laura, of Dexter; one brother, Charles Petty of Essex, and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, and his step-father, Ernest Burris.
Barrett was a retired interior decorator, and a former member of the National Guard. He had lived in the Dexter area since 1945.
Friends may call after 5 p.m., today, at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter, with the Rev. Jerrold Lake officiating. Burial will be in the Dexter Cemetery.
