Bobby Gene Casteel, 91, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Daybreak Nursing Center in Sikeston, Missouri. He was born Aug. 22, 1931, in Neely's Landing to Lloyd and Nola Jane Wills Casteel. He and Margie Caseout were married in 1950 at Scott City. She preceded him in death March 5, 2019...

Bobby Gene Casteel, 91, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Daybreak Nursing Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

He was born Aug. 22, 1931, in Neely's Landing to Lloyd and Nola Jane Wills Casteel.

He and Margie Caseout were married in 1950 at Scott City. She preceded him in death March 5, 2019.

He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local Union No. 36 for more than 30 years.

Survivors include two sons, Randy (Becky) Casteel of Milford, Ohio and Jim (Lea Anne) Casteel of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and a sister.

Private burial will be at a later date at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
