SIKESTON, Mo. -- Bobbie Jean White, 67, of Sikeston died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 26, 1934, in Dell, Ark., daughter of Homer Lee and Blanche Anna Pate King Sr. She and Dale White Sr. were married Aug. 27, 1960, at Illmo, Mo. He died May 8, 1994.
White was a graduate of Gray Ridge High School. She was director of Heritage House Nutrition Program 25 years. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Dennis White of Riverview, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Debbie Stallings of Alton, Mo.; three brothers, L.E. King of Morehouse, Mo., Homer King Jr. of Morley, Mo., Walter King of Sikeston; two sisters, Syble Bogle of Aurora, Ill., Hope Young of Blytheville, Ark.; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Tom Geers officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
