Bobbie Gene Banfield, 74, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at his home.
He was born June 30, 1940, in Cape Girardeau, to Charles H. and Marie G. Warner Banfield.
Bobbie was employed by the city of Cape Girardeau, retiring from the cemetery division. He was a member of Red Star Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, JoAnn I. McCrite and Mary E. Myers of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rick Crump officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Red Star Baptist Church.
