SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Bob Russom of Cairo, Ga., will be held at 2 p.m. today at Miller-Cooper Funeral Home there. Burial will be in Cairo.

Russom, 58, died Tuesday, June 4, 1996, in Cairo.
He was born March 1, 1938, at Illmo, son of Virgil and Dora Simmons Russom. He and Martress Wright were married June 3, 1961.
Russom was self-employed in the set-up of mobile homes. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Cairo, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Tamara Engles and Whitney Russom of Cairo, Ga., Kimberly Russom of Gainesville, Fla., Theresa Russom of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; his mother, Dora Bles of East Carondelet, Ill.; three sisters, Virginia Davidson of Bate City, Fla., Pat Gulley of Cahokia, Ill., Nelda Ferguson of St. Jacob, Ill., and three grandchildren.
