SIKESTON -- Funeral for Bobby Gene "Bob" Hampton of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home. The Rev. Lee Fansler will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Hampton, 64, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1999, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City, Ark.

He was born Oct. 31, 1934, in Braggadocio, son of David and Mary Hamlett Hampton.

Hampton retired as station manager for Santie Amoco.

Survivors include a son, Ronnie Hampton of Sikeston; a daughter, Martha Robinson of Dexter; two brothers, Joe Hampton of New Madrid, George Hampton of Dexter; four sisters, Helen Naile of Bertrand, Mildred Aaron of Anderson, Ind., Pauline Lindsey of Harrisburg, Ark., Betty McCullough of Sikeston; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
