WAPPAPELLO, Mo. -- Bob Gramling, 68, of Wappapello, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2001, at his home.
Born Oct. 21, 1933, in Walcott, Ark., he was the son of Estes and Cordie Mays Gramling.
A former resident of St. Louis, he was employed by General Motors for 30 years. He owned and operated Direct Advertising Publications in Wappapello.
On April 30, 1983, in St. Louis, he was married to Barbara Dover.
A member of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Shook, Mo., he was a third-degree Mason and member of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Phillip Gramling of Colorado Springs, Colo., Michael Gramling of Kennett, Mo.; one daughter, Debra Pierce of Kennett; two stepsons, Richard Wadlow and Marty Fancher, both of St. Louis; one stepdaughter, Tammy Kutscher of Poplar Bluff, Mo., three brothers, Stan Gramling of Jonesboro, Ark., Eugene and Malcolm Gramling, both of Kennett; three sisters, Maxine Ward of Aurora, Mo., Aledene Tinkle of Kennett, and Madonna Stewart of Walcott, Ark.; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Mo. Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Lee Roy Hefner officiating.
Burial will follow in the Elder Cemetery in Campbell, Mo.
