SIKESTON -- Blanche V. Walker, 86, of Sikeston, formerly of East Prairie, died Wednesday, May 11, 1994, at her home.
She was born Jan. 17, 1908, in the Crosno community, daughter of Samuel and Lottie Catherine Hale Oliphant. She married William Eugene Walker June 27, 1923. He died Oct. 21, 1986.
Walker was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Charleston.
Survivors include four sons, Wilbur Walker of Poplar Bluff, Kenneth and Leroy Walker of Bertrand, Glen Walker of Mayfield, Ky.; two daughters, Judith Blaylock of Bertrand, Barbara Habold of Sikeston; two brothers, Winfred and Melvin Husk of state of Oregon; 11 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters and four brothers.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. George White officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
