SIKESTON, Mo. -- Blanche Jones, 94, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.

She was born July 26, 1910, at Bloomfield, Mo., daughter of Charles and Mae Hibbs Mayo. She married Orville Paul Jones, who died Oct. 21, 1981.

Jones had been a private duty nurse. She was a member of Rauch-Spence Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Harry Jones of Lincoln City, Ore.; a daughter, Virginia King of Sikeston; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from noon to time of service today.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Harold Norton officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
