JACKSON, Mo. -- Blanche Joan Eldridge, 92, of Jackson died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, at her home.
She was born April 6, 1908, at Chaffee, Mo., daughter of William C. and Artie May Blocker Totty. She and Willie M. Eldridge were married June 2, 1926. He died June 7, 1971.
Eldridge worked at Chrysler in Detroit, Mich., from 1947-55, then moved back to Cape Girardeau County. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Eldridge of Grant, Ala., Robert Eldridge of Prattville, Ala.; a daughter, Joan Malone of Jackson; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Dr. Brian Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
