SCOTT CITY - Blanch Burke, 74, of Scott City died Friday, June 19, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 28, 1918 in Morehouse. Her parents were Jesse P. and Bendia Graham Culbertson.
Her husband, charles Burke survives. The couple were married in Cape Girardeau Aug. 4, 1937.
Burke was a member of the Apostolic Rock of Ages Church in Cape Girardeau. She lived in Cape Girardeau most of her life, before moving to Scott City in 1983.
She retired from the Lowenbaum Dress Factory.
Her survivors, in addition to her husband, include three sons: the Rev. Billy Gene Burke and Bobby L. Burke of Cape Girardeau, and Rory G. Burke.
Surviving as well are a daughter, Judy Kay Scott of Scott City; two brothers, Eugene Culbertson of Fruitland and Jesse Culbertson of Chandler, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Glenn Marshall of Fruitland; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Eight grandchildren and 13 great grandcchildren preceded her in death.
Visitation is scheduled for 4 to 8 p.m. at Ford and Sons Sprigg St. Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the home, with the Rev. Vester Keesee officiating.
Burial will be in the Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
