Billy P. "Red" Snider, 77, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, March 25, 2007, at his home.
He was born May 21, 1929, in Cape Girardeau, son of Ben and Flora Cox Snider.
Snider served in the Air Force and the Army. He was a member of Teamsters Local 574, retired from Marquette Cement plant and retired from Potashnick.
Survivors include three daughters, Sharon McClard and husband Randy of Jackson, Paula Tripp and Glenda Henry of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Robert Snider of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Carolyn Seabaugh and Helen Lipe of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, a daughter, two brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery with military honors by Missouri Honor Guard.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
