CHARLESTON -- Billy R. Adams, 62, of Dexter, formerly of Charleston, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1993, at his residence.
He was born April 23, 1931, at Ripley County, Tenn., son of Aulcie R. and Ida Bell Tate Adams.
He was a resident of Stoddard County for the past 17 years, employed with Cargill Barge Line of St. Louis.
Survivors include a daughter, Vicki Brashears of Springfield, Mo.; three sisters, Shirley Pittman of Granite City, Ill., Emma Murphy of Ballwin, Mo., and Doris Woodward of Dover, Del.; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. today at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, with the Rev. Carl Cox officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
